Frequently Asked Questions
Booking a class
How do I book a class?
1. Select a Class by going on the "Classes" section on our website
2. You should then be able to see the "Class Schedule" and Book a session on whichever date/time works best for you
3. Select a package (e.g. introductory offer/drop in/bundle/membership)
4. Complete your payment at checkout
5. Feel the BURN!
Alternatively, you can book via the ClassFit App. You will need to download the app, search for Social Pilates House, then schedule in for a class and book.
Please note that when you purchase an introductory offer, drop in, bundle or membership, you are also booking a class simultaneously.
Can I use my credits from my package for a friend / family member?
You are unable to share your credits with friends and family. You are only permitted to use 1 credit for yourself in a single class. Therefore, the person who owns the package can only attend the class. The exception here is if a member has a guest pass which can enable the guest to attend with the client at the same time subject to class availability. Please look at the guest pass section of the FAQ’s for further information.
How does the waitlist work?
When a class is fully booked, you can still register for the session, however, you will be added to the waitlist. If someone from the class drops out a few days prior to the session, the first person on the waitlist will be notified. If they do not respond (accept or decline) within the first hour, the second person on the waitlist will then be notified. If they do not respond within the first hour the message is then sent to the third person, and the cycle goes on.
If somebody drops out within 24 hours before the class, the notification (that a space is available) is sent to everybody who is on the waitlist for this class so it works on a first come first serve basis.
Why do I not receive a confirmation email after booking a class?
The reason for this may be that ClassFit/ Social Pilates House emails could be going to your spam folder. In order to actually receive your confirmation, you may have to whitelist Classfit. You would then have to send us an email to let us know that you have done so. We will then inform the ClassFit team about this, who will also whitelist your name on their end. After this, you should then be able to receive all of the incoming information.
Can I book a class before the date of when my package was purchased?
When purchasing a package, at checkout you will have the option to alter the start date. Automatically, your package is set to begin (and renew if you’re on a membership) on the date of your first class booked. If you wish to book any classes before your first class which you have registered for, please change your start date to a day which is appropriate to you.
How can I buy a package?
As mentioned above, in order to buy a package, you would need to select a class first. After selecting a class (which you wish to attend), you can then select the package you would like to go for (eg. Introductory offer, Drop-in, Bundle or Membership). After completing your payment at checkout, you will now have your credits added to your account which you can book classes with (as long as these classes are not before your start date, and after your renewal/expiry date).
Can I book ahead of time even if I have run out of credits?
One of the advantages of being a member is that you can book in advance, with your credits for next month, even if your credits haven’t come through yet. This will allow you to register for a class before it has been fully booked, and therefore guarantee yourself a space in the class! However, this is only applicable to those who are on a membership- SPH Members.

Do I have to start with the Beginners class?
At Social Pilates House, we offer a variety of classes designed to accommodate individuals of all abilities. We recommend that new clients start with one or two Beginners classes, where you will be introduced to the Reformer Bed and all the necessary equipment as well as learn how to use it safely and effectively. You can then move on to a Mixed Ability class.
Do I need to wear grip socks at classes?
YES!!! This is essential for safety and hygiene purposes. Without grip socks, you can easily slip while conducting the exercises and this can be very dangerous. Clients will be refused entry to a class if they do not have grip socks and will not be re-credited. You can of course purchase grip socks at the studio for £8.99 a pair.
How do I change my bank details through Class Fit?
In order to update this, you would need to go to the ClassFit “Settings” then click “Billing Settings”. This will direct you straight to your billing information, where you can easily change your details.
Prenatal, Postnatal and C-section
Can I attend your classes if I've had a C-section?
Absolutely! As long as you have received medical approval to participate, you're all set.
How long do I have to wait to start Reformer Pilates after giving birth naturally/after having a C-section?
Natural delivery recovery generally takes 6-7 weeks and C-section recovery typically lasts around 12 weeks, though this can vary from person to person. Best way to decide is to seek medical advice to progress.
What classes do you recommend taking after giving birth?
Recommended classes: Sculpt Reformer, Beginner Reformer, Power Reformer, Parent Reformer Baby in Pram (you must inform your instructor that you have given birth and may require some modifications).
Classes to Avoid: Jumpboard classes until you have built up your strength, endurance and core.
Cancellation Policy
When am I eligible for a recredit?
Our 24-hour cancellation policy is as follows: "If you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled class, you will receive a full credit refund, please note this will not be done via monetary terms, just credits. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the class time will be charged in full, and the credit will be deducted".
As such, we are unable to issue credits for cancellations made less than 24 hours before your class.
Can I get a refund if something came up last minute?
We will no longer be making exceptions for last-minute cancellations unless there are extenuating circumstances which we will need to review to make a final decision. As a result, one credit will be deducted, and no re-credits will be issued.
Pausing/Upgrading Memberships and Renewal Dates of Memberships.
Can I pause my membership? How long can I pause my membership for?
Yes, you can pause your membership for a maximum of 2 weeks per year! However, this option is only available for SPH members. This includes individuals who are currently on an active membership e.g. Bronze, Silver, Gold, Gold Plus and Platinum.
Can I extend my Package expiry date? Can I roll my credits/guest passes over?
Packages cannot be extended, and credits cannot be rolled over, even if they were not fully used in the previous month. Guest passes also cannot be rolled over and will be lost if not used within the month of issue.
If I have run out of credits early in the month, am I able to use my next month’s credits?
Unfortunately, credits from upcoming months cannot be used in advance if you have run out of credits. However, clients who have purchased memberships can purchase additional classes for the current month at the same rate as your existing membership. In order to do this, all you need to do is email us, and we will send you a payment link with the corresponding price. Once this has been completed, we will add the appropriate amount of credits to your account.
When does my membership renew?
Memberships renew on the date of your first class. For example, if you purchase a membership on the 1st of the month but schedule your first class for the 5th, your membership will renew on the 5th of each subsequent month, not the 1st of the month.
How can I upgrade my membership?
You can upgrade your membership on your renewal date each month. Please email us a few days in advance so we can process your request and cancel your current membership before the next charge. Once cancelled, you can upgrade to a different contract.
Can I cancel my membership before the 3 months are up?
Memberships require a minimum 3-month commitment, so they cannot be cancelled before the 3-month period ends. They renew monthly on the date of your first class and expire at the end of the 3 months.
