About Social Pilates House

We are a boutique Pilates studio based in the heart of Winchmore Hill. Our purpose is to make Pilates part of everyday life. To encapsulate the mind and body connection through movement and breathing, creating transformative results whilst in a social environment.

Our beautiful shop front studio has state of the art machines, the most sturdy and comfortable beds on the market, the new Allegro 2. We have 6 Reformer beds to create a more intimate setting and many accessories to keep the exercises varied. We are one of the few studios in North London that have dabbled into Jump boards, the newest trend on the market. Make sure you come and try one of the classes and you will no doubt be hooked.

Before or after your class, be sure to visit our Zen Garden and have a sip on some Lemongrass tea.

We will be hosting many events through the year on Wellness and will also be introducing Mat Pilates so keep your eyes peeled.

Hello, my name is Sukheev and I am founder of Social Pilates House. I am married with two children, a girl named Kaira and a boy called Rian. I have lived in Winchmore Hill for over 12 years now and have enjoyed every moment in this beautiful suburb.

The business idea was created whilst on maternity leave with my second child. Having spent the last 20 years in Financial Services, I always knew I wanted to start my own business. My late mother was an entrepreneur and she was a big advocate into wellbeing. She always used to say if you put your mind to something and work hard, you can achieve anything you want.

It was when I had some challenges in trying to conceive my second child coupled with lockdown, I lost the love of the corporate environment, family and wellbeing became my focal point. When my son was born in 2022, he had some complications which had meant spending most of my maternity leave being in and out of Great Ormond Street Hospital. I struggled at the thought of returning back to my City job and working away from home. I decided I had to make a change to my life and do something completely different to encapsulate what I stand for, what I am good at and with the underlying theme of how I can help others through this journey. It was then, Social Pilates House was born.

Reformer Pilates really helped me to stay focused, I felt mentally and physically stronger, had more energy for my kids and liked the group setting to help motivate me. Self care is so important in the busy hustle and bustle of life, and therefore I wanted to create a space for everyone to zone out, to concentrate on movement, breathing and building a better version of yourself. Of course the exercise part is important but I wanted this space to be more than just that, a community feel so there is time to have a conversation and make connections with like minded individuals.

I am so excited to embark on this new chapter and cannot wait for you to join me on this Reformer revolution that has taken over the world but now we get to enjoy it at our doorstep. My house is your house…

About our Founder

Meet our Instructors

  • Sukheev

    Sukheev, our founder of Social Pilates House trained with London Pilates Academy for her level 3 Mat Pilates and was part of the Kim Shipton Academy for her Reformer Pilates training. Her style falls more towards Dynamic Reformer Pilates but she still very much enjoys teaching the Classical Reformer sessions. Sukheev likes to add a lot of variety to her classes using many accessories particularly dabbling with the Jumpboard, to provide that extra intensity.

    Sukheev can be described as strong willed, resilient and personable.

    Fun fact about Sukheev, she is a qualified Feng Shui Consultant and Make Up Artist and claim to fame was doing make up on models for London Fashion Week.

  • Miranda

    Miranda is a qualified Reformer Pilates and Mat Pilates instructor. She is also a certified Personal Trainer and Yoga teacher and has 10 years of industry experience. She has a modern, dynamic approach to Reformer, often fusing her knowledge of multiple types of training to give a tough full body workout.

    Miranda can be described as kind, bubbly and determined.

    Fun fact about Miranda, she can hula hoop non stop for hours.

  • Andrea

    Andrea has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years. She is a personal trainer and teaches a range of classes from Reformer Pilates, Mat Pilates to Spin, Body Pump, Legs, Bums and Core Strength and Conditioning. Andrea loves teaching and is always looking to upskill. Reformer Pilates is her favourite class not only to teach but to do the class herself. She takes great pleasure in helping her clients reach their fitness goals.

    Andrea can be described as fierce, highly energetic and motivational.

    Fun fact about Andrea she is the life and soul of the party.

  • Gabriella

    Gabriella is an accredited Yoga and Pilates instructor. She believes that movement is medicine and that is why she fell in love with her fitness career. She received her certifications in 2018 and has taught many studio classes, worked with rehabilitation patients, hosted Yoga and Pilates events. Her goal is to encourage clients to grow in an organic way and through having fun with classes that offer dynamic styles and what she calls modern creativity following the Classical Pilates method which she adores. Her mission is to cultivate safe spaces of inclusion in an educative and nourished environment

    Gabriella can be described as kind, creative and funny.

    Fun Fact about Gabriella, she is a Five Element Acupuncturist and loves to be learning and growing her repertoire of knowledge constantly so she has more to offer to her clients.

  • Emma Chase

    Emma has come from a fitness background and has had experience in boxing, yoga and Pilates. She has even completed triathlons. After becoming a mother she retrained in Pilates and obtained Mat Pilates L3, Reformer Pilates with HFE, and STOTT Barre qualifications with Merrithew. Emma's style in Reformer Pilates is more dynamic, upbeat and always with an awesome playlist!

    Emma can be described as loyal, dedicated and fun.

    A fun fact about Emma is that she grew up in Ibiza.

  • Anna Kirakowska

    Anna comes from a classical Pilates mat background, but loves to integrate dynamic qualities to her classes. Coming from a dance background, she has many years experience working to strengthen, realign, sculpt and rehabilitate the body through Pilates. She specialises in Pilates for pre and post natal and loves adapting for everyone to create an inclusive class.

    Anna can be described as fun, bright and engaging.

    Anna used to be a circus aerialist, suspended 25 feet above ground!

  • Sunny Adem

    Sunny is a qualified Mat and Reformer Pilates instructor. Sunny trained 9 years ago with Future Fit Pilates and more recently with Zero Gravity Pilates for her Reformer Pilates qualification in January 2024. Sunny has followed the classical method in her classes and she always like to correct people during the exercises. Sunny has qualifications for pilates with little equipment and pilates for common orthopedic conditions.

    Sunny can be described as hard working, trustworthy and positive.

    A fun fact about Sunny is that she likes to make people laugh, smile or feel good about themselves, so get ready to have those extra endorphins pumped in Sunny's classes.
